“Reputable” Scientists and The Paranormal

“Reputable” Scientists and The Paranormal

One of the problems that the paranormal has to overcome is that it is constantly labeled as pseudoscience. Contrary to what most believe there have been “reputable” scientists who have dabbled in paranormal research or are connected to the paranormal in one way or another. I put “reputable” in quotes because these scientists also have some skeletons in their closet that may damper their credibility, and in the end it will be up to the reader to decide if these scientists are credible proponents of the paranormal.

Are Reptilians Really Controlling the World?

Are Reptilians Really Controlling the World?

As far as conspiracy theories go, David Icke has certainly made a name for himself. Operating in the name of exposing the reality about “who and what is really controlling the world”, Icke has written sixteen extremely long books, given multitudinous lectures and seminars, and appeared on many television and radio shows in search of, and touting, his alleged “truth”. The result is a hypothesis that has entered the mainstream consciousness, collecting quite a David Icke following and quite a bit more ridicule. But what is behind Icke’s ideology—what causes Icke to tick (sorry, too corny and obvious to pass up)?

5 Pieces of Evidence Against The Paranormal

5 Pieces of Evidence Against The Paranormal

One thing I love about the paranormal is the fierce debates that it causes. The comments left at the bottom of the articles here at Paranormal Haze are sometimes just as entertaining, if not more entertaining, than the articles themselves. I have presented evidence in support of the paranormal in several articles on this site and in the interest of fairness and to stir up a debate I wanted to present 5 pieces of evidence that those who believe in the paranormal will have to contend with in order for their beliefs to continue to hold water.

In The Defense of The Paranormal

In The Defense of The Paranormal

More than any other field of study, the paranormal field gets scoffed. When I tell people that I write for a paranormal website I often get bombarded with comments like “do you actually believe in that stuff?” and half hearted “Oh, that’s cool. I guess”. But I believe that there is merit in studying the paranormal. By paranormal I mean the study of Extraterrestrials or UFOs, cryptozoology, and ghosts, though I will also be the first to admit that there are major flaws in how some areas of the field are researched.

A Cosmic Watergate

Stanton Friedman is an accomplished nuclear physicist. He has worked for such large companies as General Electric, General Motors, Westinghouse and Aerojet General Nucleonics, he worked on highly classified programs involving nuclear aircraft, fission and fusion rockets. Friedman is now laying his career on the line by claiming, “Some UFOs are intelligently controlled extraterrestrial spacecraft.”

CIA vs. KGB—Psychic paranoia, mind control…

CIA vs. KGB—Psychic paranoia, mind control…

The sixties saw a lot of really radical changes: tie-dye, hallucinogenic drugs, general unkemptness—but it also ushered in an era of severe paranoia centered on the continuous conflict between the USSR and the good old USA. While this largely imagined competition for the biggest badass in business taught us a lot about overreacting, bomb threats (duck and cover!), and general suspicion, it also ushered in a very weird trend in government research—specifically, in how to create a psychic super weapon equal to or better than what the other guys supposedly had.

Striges And Her Vampire Carnival

Striges And Her Vampire Carnival

It was a dark and unusually foggy night when the massacre occurred. The weather was cold, too cold for summertime. But, that’s how they wanted it. That’s how they brought it with them. I’m speaking of the night the vampires came and took over our small town of San Pedro. Before I go any further, I think I should go back to the days leading up to that horrible night for you.
