In 1995 Tony O’Rahilly took a photo of the Wem Town hall in Shropshire as it burned out of control. After developing the photo O’Rahilly discovered that a girl appeared to be standing in a doorway in front of the blaze. The photo became a sensation in the paranormal community and was purported to be some of the best photo graphic evidence of the existence of ghosts ever.

Rahilly claimed that the image was real and denied that it had been doctored in any way all the way up to his death in 2005. But now a 77-year-old man named Brian Lear has noticed a striking similarity between the girl in the burning building and a girl that is featured on a postcard.

Police in Florida Having Trouble Dealing With Voodoo Complaints

Farel Paul became paralyzed with fear when he discovered a small pile of rocks with a blue dust sprinkled on top of them next to his car. His fear was exacerbated by the fact that his song had touched the rocks. Paul called 911 and said that a voodoo curse had been placed on him and needed help.

This is not the only call police in Florida have had to deal with that was related to Voodoo. In late 2007 officers responded to a call where a man said he was battling evil voodoo spirits in his home. When police arrived the man and his girlfriend were both covered in blood. The man attempted to attack police officers even after being tazered. It was like he felt no pain said one officer on the scene.

Florida is home to many Haitian immigrants many of whom have long held traditions and beliefs that revolve around voodoo.

Police officials say that they have to take the calls seriously but can only respond to the calls and not do much else. They cannot take the calls too seriously, though, just as they could not open a case where someone claimed the devil or the government was after them.

Strange cats in Glasgow

Dr. Bob Sharp, retired head of the department of sports studies at Strathclyde University and experienced outdoorsman, was taking a stroll through the campgrounds located in northern Glasgow. It was on theses campground that Sharp saw something very peculiar. He wrote about it in an email to his friends and colleagues the following day:
“At a point where the slope relents, I saw a large animal running from left to right about 20 meters away. My brain tried to fit its shape to that of a fox but failed miserably. The animal I saw was, for all intents and purposes, a female lion. It was not a sheep, cow, deer, badger, fox, hare, wildcat, otter, etc.
“It was beige/brown in color, had chunky, fur-covered legs, a long tail and rounded-off ears. It was large, at least four to five feet long, and it moved just like a female African lion. I followed it as it ran towards the tree line, then it was gone in about ten seconds.”
Is it an escaped zoo animal that Sharp saw? Or perhaps a large cat has been native to the area for a long time and has just gone undetected? The possibility also exists that this is a new or thought-to-be extinct species living in Glasgow, Scotland.
