One possible explanation is that these paintings were commissioned (by the church or the state) to place these phenomena in a deified context. Officially declared to be the vessels of angels, the peasants would ask fewer annoying questions – that likely, the clergy of the day had scant answers for themselves. It is likely that ancient UFO sightings coincided with important historical and political events – and just as likely that the sightings impressed, or pressured, leaders of the day to take bold, or unusual actions.

One set of images depicts a late 8th century battle, in which Saxon Crusaders besieged and surrounded the people of Sigiburg Castle, in France – when suddenly a group of saucers appeared in the sky, apparently hovering over the top of the church. The Saxons fled, believing that the French were being protected by the “flaming shields.”

It was a very superstitious time – but people, as today, knew what they saw – though they probably had little context to associate with it. While there were certainly no flying machines (designed by humans) in those times, there were sailing ships – people were familiar with portholes. Some depictions illustrate these and other classic UFO details – begging the question: what did the ancients think of flying saucers?

An unusual source of UFO evidence in Ancient Art can be found in artwork which stretches back over thousands of years. It often seems to contain “anomalous” figures and extraterrestrial craft. Even with such a large amount of evidence available it is hard to understand what the artists were trying to depict.

A cave painting from Val Camonica, Italy dated 10,000 BC appears to depict two beings in protective suits holding strange implements. Another cave painting from Tassili, Africa shows humanoids wearing round helmets with a disc flying in the sky. This dates from 6000BC. There are further UFOs on per-renaissance paintings.

A 15th century tapestry entitled “The Magnificat” from Burgundy depicts the life of Mary, mother of Jesus. However in the background is a flying hat shaped object and there is no explanation of its appearance. One of the most startling anomalies appears on a Yugoslavian fresco entitled “The Crucifixion” which was painted in 1350. Two objects can be seen on the painting, resembling flaming stars with a person inside. They look like spacecraft with a pilot!

What seems evident in all of the weird and wonderful examples of these kinds of paintings is that the artists witnessed, or at least were aware of, sightings of aerial phenomena.

There were no airplanes, weather balloons, or experimental military jets to explain away the UFOs native to the skies of the pre industrial aeons. Events such as these would not have been as easily dismissed. Would those who witnessed such craft or encountered such beings first hand, be feared as witches, seen as cursed ~ or even blessed? A medieval abductee might descend from the mountain saying, in a reverent but dazed tone, “I have been touched by the angels.”

The ministry has released the files as part of a four-year project to transfer all of the UFO documents to the National Archives to make them available to curious members of the public. The documents include hundreds of police reports taken from witnesses who describe seeing lights or strange objects in the sky, from southern England and Wales up to Northern Ireland.

These are the thing which have been reported by Charles I. Halt’s report:

“The individuals reported seeing a strange glowing object in the forest,” wrote Halt, who was deputy base commander at RAF Bentwaters, adjacent to Woodbridge.

“The object was described as being metallic in appearance and triangular in shape, approximately two to three metres across the base and approximately two metres high.

“It illuminated the entire forest with a white light. The object itself had a pulsing red light on top and a bank(s) of blue lights underneath. The object was hovering or on legs.

“As the patrolmen approached the object, it manoeuvred through the trees and disappeared. At this time the animals on a nearby farm went into a frenzy.”

An hour later, the UFO was spotted near the back gate to the base.

“Later in the night a red sun-like light was seen through the trees. It moved about and pulsed. At one point it appeared to throw off glowing particles and then broke into five separate white objects and then disappeared.

“Immediately thereafter, three star-like objects were noticed in the sky, two objects to the north and one to the south, all of which were about 10 degrees off the horizon.

“The objects moved rapidly in sharp angular movements and displayed red, green and blue lights. The objects to the north appeared to be elliptical through an 8-12 power lens. They then turned to full circles.

“The objects to the north remained in the sky for an hour or more. The object to the south was visible for two or three hours and beamed down a stream of light from time to time.”

The radiation measured was 10 times higher than normal, according to the file. More about this is now available to all the people, all of us who want to know what is going on. I am just surprised for files to be opened after so many years. Many people who have been eyewitnesses have been considered crazy. Is this a way of saying sorry to them?

Anyhow, this is something what is giving answers to many. And is this just the start? Will we be able to take a look in some of the government experiments? I am sure there is a lot of people who are curious about this.

Scientist are pretty sure, that something like this would happen, because a similar size asteroid made impact with Earth in 1908. A meteorite weighing 100 million pounds entered the Earth’s atmosphere over Tunguska in Siberia, burning up the sky and releasing the same amount of energy which would possess 185 nuclear bombs dropped on Hiroshima.

Fortunately this meteorite hit the place on Earth where there’s no population. You can imagine that a lot of animals had died and trees were burned, but no human were harmed. This meteorite with a diameter of 40 meters, the meteorite is similar to the 2012 meteorite DA14 which will pass by Earth at a distance of 27,000 kilometers. This is the closest passing by recorded so far. This passage is not close enough to threaten Earth, although it will pass by the area in which there are satellites that orbit around our planet. Siberia was not that lucky in 1908.

Somewhere after 7 am on Jun 30, 1908 a man was sitting on his chair in front of his store in Vanvara, Russia when he was suddenly thrown out of his chair. In the sky appeared a fiery rift, as the man said later to scientists. Although located 64km away from the point of impact, the man felt so much heat that he thought his shirt caught fire, according to NASA scientists. Other witnesses have described they heard the sounds of a blast of artillery fire.

Tunguska meteorite has enetered in the atmosphere at a speed of 53.900 km / h. There was no impact crater because the pressure and heat of this entry made the space rocks explode. The explosion leveled everything within 1287 square kilometers.

By the time this asteroid hit Tunguska, scientist thought that the impacts are similar to the nuclear bombs. However, the explosion spread in all directions, while the objects in the universe carry their energy in a single direction.

Asteroid 2012 DA14, space rock that will pass by Earth on Friday will not threaten mankind. However, if that were to happen, the damage would be tremendous.

These strikes, are estimated to occur on Earth every few thousand years. But because the comet disintegrating in the air and doesn’t leave behind a crater, their traces is difficult to see – at the site of impact in Tunguska is now only possible to see the trees which grew back.

Who are these Shadow People? The term “Shadow People” is a catchall for entities that exhibit certain characteristics – but their origins can be wildly different. There are different kind of Shadow People: Benign Shadows, Negative Shadows, Red-eyed Shadows, Hooded Shadows and the Hat Man. As I was reading more, I got to realize that most of the encounters people had with these Shadow People were harmless. Like these shadows are tormented and just passing by in a search for something or someone. There was no contacts with them but the constant unpleasant feeling and fear. For the type of red-eyed and negative shadows there are stories written where people felt like they are feeding on their fear. Shadow People may be demonic entities, ghosts, inter-dimensional travelers, or other denizens of the dark realm we call the Unknown. Regardless of their label, Shadow People could very well be more than just one type of being. Brad Steiger, author of “Shadow World,” has studied the paranormal for more than 50 years and agrees – there are many possible explanations for Shadow People. “I would say that experiencers are seeing all of the above and giving them/it the name of Shadow People.”

My thoughts are different on this subject. If these are people who are just passing from one place to another or dimensions as some like to call it, how can’t we all see them? I am sure that there are so many thing we are disabled to see or hear, just for being limited with our senses. We know that there are animals which can detect tones and see things we are not able to, and all of them are around us. So this brings me to a question, if some people can see these Shadow People, why can’t we all? And can our senses be trained to see or hear more?

When I was six, I saw it at my dad’s new house, towering over my bed. I couldn’t move, and I don’t remember what happened next. Most of the Shadow People encounters I’ve collected over the years are readily explainable. The experiencer wakes to find a black, human figure standing in the doorway of their bedroom, or leaning over their bed, just watching. A tightness grips their chest like the weight of a person is upon them. They can’t breathe. Suddenly the choking eases, and the Shadow being is gone. This type of encounter is common, and psychology has a name for it – sleep paralysis.

April Haberyan, a psychology professor at Northwest Missouri State University, said most Shadow People encounters are probably the product of dreams. When people sleep and enter the REM phase, “it’s very common for them to see things,” Haberyan said. The fear, the paralysis, and the entities are normal. “There are hormones in REM sleep that paralyze the major muscle groups and it’s called paradoxical sleep,” she said. “(Although) this happens during REM, these people don’t stay asleep and the hormones are still in their bodies. It can last up to eight minutes and they feel pressure on their chest and can see people.” When the experiencer becomes fully awake, the Shadow Person encounter is over – all that’s left is the fear.

From a religious view: Bishop James Long, pastor of St. Christopher Old Catholic Church in Louisville, Kentucky, has studied demonology for years and knows Shadow People well – to him they are something evil. “Shadow People must be taken seriously and they can be quite dangerous,” he said. “When a human spirit tries to manifest itself, its form is black, or otherwise known as Shadow. It is energy trying to manifest itself so that it can appear to have the physical characteristics it had when living on earth.” These entities can move, communicate, and attack, drawing energy from their human victim. “Certainly Shadows that attack are demonic in nature and should be avoided at all times,” Long said. “I would strongly encourage anyone who witnesses a dark Shadow to be careful.”

Most Shadow People encounters are benign, a dark figure lingering in the corners of your life, watching. Could these entities simply be watching us from a realm barely removed from our own? Marie Jones, author of books exploring science and the paranormal, thinks other dimensions could be homes of Shadow People. “In my research into quantum and theoretical physics, I came across … concepts that really opened up the possibilities to me that entities from somewhere else could be coming here” Jones said.

At the end I am still not sure what this is all about. Are these ghosts, travelers from other dimensions, demons or just our dreams? Who can tell with a certainty what is happening and who or what this is? Is it just a vivid imagination?

Everybody is excited at that time of the year and most of the people are not working and celebrating and waiting for the New Year to come. I was very excited, because I just had a new boyfriend and everything was peachy. I was at my friends house, we had hot chocolate and talked about my new relationship and hers love life, as we always to. Somehow men are our main topic ever since we started noticing boys.

Anyhow, everything was just great and outside was snowing as crazy, but it wasn’t windy, it was just perfect. So I decided to walk from her house to mine. We don’t live to far away from each other, but still it is about 20-25minutes walk to my house. While I was walking and snow was crunching under my feet, some man approached me from the back. I was expecting him to pass me over, but that didn’t happen. He started walking foot by foot with me. I don’t have to tell you that I got scared ass hell, and started walking faster. I didn’t want to make an eye contact with him so I took from time to time glances of this, as it looked to me, man silhouette. The tension got very strong. We walked like that for I don’t know how long, it looked like forever to me, and than this man spoke in quite a normal voice and asked me where the train station is.

At that moment I was able to look back at the person talking to me. There was something very strange with him, but I don’t know to explain it. Just a feeling that something here is not normal. It was a man in his forties or maybe fifties, it was hard to tell since it was dark and he had fedora on his head and a good tailored coat.

I got very surprised with his question since he was heading the opposite direction from the train station. I explained to him that he will never get to the train station if he walks with me and that he should go the other way. He was very pleasant, but that didn’t make me feel less scared. What surprised most, was the fact that he is still walking with me even though I have pointed him the right direction. He started talking about the weather, and what was left for me to do, but to talk with him and be nice.

He asked me where I am going, where have I been, about the plans for New Years eve, all the normal question, but still something wasn’t right. Why is this person following me and why isn’t he heading to the train station if he already asked for it? After he got answers to the questions I gave he simply miraculously smiled, and said: “Well, this is to where I’m going. Have a happy New Year!”

I was shocked, this was something what I was less expecting. Even though I wished him to go away, this was one strange situation. I just smiled, too ans wished him a happy New Year, too. He said: “Oh, thank you! It’s gonna be a good year, I know it!”. I stood and watch after this odd man, how he is disappearing in the dark, and I swear to you, for a moment I thought I saw a tail. After this I hurried home.

When I got home, to my big surprise, I found out that I got home in 15minutes! It looked like time stopped for a while. All of this looked like it lasted forever. I have called my friend immediately. We tried to rationalize everything what happened. But to tell you the truth, I still don’t know what happened out there. If someone had the same or similar experience I would like to know and compare it.

Needless to say, this never again happened to me. But from time to time I remember this awkward encounter, but I don’t wanna think about his to much, but it would be nice if someone with the similar story is out there, just to know that I was not totally insane that night.

Visitors of this wonderful place have been for years claiming they have heard some kind of enigmatic music from the sky around the shoreline of Yellowstone lake. The sound was mostly been described as the ringing or telephone wires or as a swarm of bees. The sound is moving all the time and at first you can hear it somewhere in the distance as it grows rapidly until you have a feeling that something is directly over your head, and than the sounds vanishes as it goes into other direction.

First time this phenomena was written about in 1890 when a biology Professor Edwin Linton wrote about this phenomena, while he was on a U.S. Fish Commission project. After him Hiram M. Chittenden wrote about this mystic lake music in 1895. Chittenden was an accomplished engineer with rigorous scientific discipline who built roads and bridges in the park, as well as locks in Seattle’s Lake Washington Ship Canal. He was not given to idle speculation or unsubstantiated gossip about seemingly magical events. But, he was the one who wrote about it.

The sounds appear to take place at or near Yellowstone Lake or Shoshone Lake on a clear day when there is little or no wind and the waters are still, usually in the morning.

In 1930, F. C. Marvin, chief of the U.S. Weather Bureau, who based his ideas on observations by Glen Jefferson, a Yellowstone meteorologist. also wrote about this strange sound on the lake. Marvin has noted that temperature inversions are not uncommon above Yellowstone Lake, where warmer air above the lake sits atop cooler air near the water’s surface.

He posited that such inversions “may alter the normal way that the air conducts sound,” he stated. “It might produce sound mirages, in which distant noises of geysers, birds or steamboats might appear to come from near at hand.”

Sounds like an explanation, if there are mirages in the deserts which can trick your eye, why there wouldn’t be mirages that trick your ear? Still this is something that makes me wonder.

Other theories written by Stephen Forbes, of the Illinois State Natural History Survey, who wrote about hearing the lake sounds while on the same expedition as Linton.

“No scientific explanation of this really bewitching phenomenon has ever been published, although it has been several times referred to by travelers, who have ventured various crude guesses at its cause, varying from that commonest catch-all of the ignorant, ‘electricity,’ to the whistling of the wings of ducks and the noise of Steamboat Geyser,” Forbes wrote. “It seems to me to belong to the class of aerial echoes, but even on that supposition I cannot account for the origin of the sound.”

This phenomena has no real explanation yet, but I am sure with all the equipment we have now-days soon there will be some solution and answers to this mystery.

The unfortunate girl got rescued by Russian police after a neighbor in the Solikamsk district in the Ural Mountains reported that a small girl seems to be living with cows.

The child seems not to have name and she does not know how to eat properly. The only way of eating known to her is by drinking milk from a saucepan, is what police officials have said.

The neighbor who reported this, also commented that he believes that this girl parents are alcoholics and that he was frightened for the little girls life. He also said this is the firs time he has seen her, and immediately called up for police.

When the police came to check in what the neighbor reported about, you can imagine the shock they were in. It proved his story to be right. When they came, they found this girl wearing close to nothing and living with the livestock on the farm. What kept her alive and safe from freezing were the animals.

The girl’s mother and stepfather, both farmers, did not take her to kindergarten and forced her to stay with the farm animals to keep her off their hands. They were not worried about the little girls life, and they were pretty buzzed when the police came to their home.

Little girl has been taken from these people and put into a foster care. It is not needed to say that this girl will have traumas and the only good thing is she has been founded before it could be to late. We pray for this poor child recovery.

This disturbing pattern of missing people has first been noticed in the period of 1988-1995. This is believed to be happening on the 720km long quiet road now known as the Highway of Tears. So many questions are popping up in my head now, and no logic answer to what is happening here. Are we talking about a serial killer? Why am I even thinking of this? Because, some of the girls bodies have been found. They were killed and found along this road of horror, and some are still missing. The real question is if they are ever to be found. I know that most of the families who have found themselves i this horrifying situation, I can even say a hopeless one, are every day, when the body is not found seeing as one more day their love one lives. But, as long as there is hope, I am sure the agony of waiting for some news is even worst.

The first girl to be missing is thought to be in 1975, Monica Ignas. She disappeared east of Terrace on December 13, 1974 and was later found lying dead and discarded in a gravel pit. In 1988, Alberta Williams, age 24, was also found murdered a month after disappearing. But it wasn’t until 1994 that things really began speeding up at an alarming pace.

By now it is invested $11 million (Canadian) to investigate the murders, but without success. So much money invested and nothing. It looks to me like they put some number of people to sit in front of computers and than who ever does this will jump from the computer. What is going on here? Is it the real problem here for these women are Natives? Conditions where they are living are not good ones, it is more sense of a misery you can feel everywhere. No human dignity left. Not sure why it is called a reserve? I think that the answers are not found, about the things happening here, because it is not looked after ones. If a real research was to be done an unpleasant truth would be fond. In a “democracy” where human rights are sacred, it would be fund out that human rights stand only on the paper, and that as George Orwell said in his Animal Farm “…All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than the others…” Unpleasant truth would be to find out that human rights are not the same for all people living in this country, or as the mater of fact in any other country.

Do you remember the trial against Robert Pickton, who was sentenced to life in prison in Vancouver in 2007? When police officers searched for illegal weapons on his pig farm outside Vancouver, they found pieces of clothing belonging to a missing Native prostitute. When police then scoured the farm from top to bottom, they found the remains of 49 Native women.

Pickton made pornographic films of the women and then slaughtered them like the pigs at his farm. But the trial also raised questions about the police and the justice system. How is it possible that his crimes could have gone undiscovered for so long? Why didn’t anyone search for the missing women?

There was a public hearing on the Pickton case, and new details about corruption among the Mounties and justice officials emerged on a daily basis. The worst thing is to be alone in your pain. Let us be there for these people and share this and make some noise!

There are a lot of stories about haunted places, not all are real ones. But, there are pretty big number of them making money on alleged ghost visiting. But, still there are places in the world which are “more haunted” than others. What does this mean? It simply means that many people have reported some paranormal activities on these places, more than on the others. These are the top 10 places reported as the most haunted. If you would visit them, surely you will get the idea why this is the case.

10. Borley Rectory

Borley Rectory is located in the small village of Borley, near Sudbury, UK. This small village doesn’t look haunted at all, but this village has a reputation as the “most haunted place in England”.
Borley Rectory was built in 1863 for the Reverend Henry Bull, it sits on the site of an ancient monastery. The ghost of a mournful nun who patrolled the so-called ‘Nun’s Walk’ had often been seen there. An old story claimed that she had fallen in love with a monk from the Borley Monastery – to much outrage – and the two had tried to elope together but had been quickly tracked down. The monk was executed and the nun bricked up in the cellars of the monastic buildings!

9. Stanley Hotel

I am sure you all know about Stephen King’s book The Shining, which was inspired by a stay at the Stanley in Estes Park, Colorado. Assigned Room 217, King reportedly heard ghost children playing in the hallway. Many have experienced paranormal activity here, but these real-life ghosts seem harmless. Many spirits are said to haunt the place, while guests and employees claim to have heard faint music coming from the ballroom and seen the piano keys moving.

The most popular spirit hunting this places, as reported, is the ghost of one of the wives of Henry VIII, beheaded in the Tower in 1536. Her ghost has been seen on many occasions, sometimes carrying her head, on Tower Green and in the Tower Chapel Royal. But, she is not the only ghost reported seen here, as you know, many people have died here, after all this is one old building, and as you all know the game of throne is never a pretty one, so not all people died in a pleasant way, many of them were innocent…

Woodchester Mansion is located in Gloucestershire, England. In the last 200 years workers have repeatedly run from the place and seven builders are rumored to have died in inexplicable accidents.

6. The Parisian Catacombs

The Paris Catacombs are mazes of tunnels and crypts underneath the city streets where Parisians placed the bones of their dead for almost 30 years. These tunnels contain the bodies of roughly 6-7 million Parisians. I am sure that no real ghosts are needed here, just the sense of death near you will make you feel uncomfortable.

5. The Skirrid Inn

Skirrid Mountain Inn is located in Llanfihangel Crucorney, Wales. According to folklore, in its 900-year history over 180 people have been hanged from a beam on the staircase, which is still in place today, with rope marks, apparently. The first floor of the inn is thought to have been a courtroom in the past. There are not to many people who have courage to stay for a night here. If some of you have visited this place, or even better stayed here for a night, I would like to tell us more about your experience there.

4. Rose Hall

Jamaica, doesn’t sound like a place where ghost go for a vacation. Contrary to popular belief that ghosts are in dark and cold places, there are places where ghosts like to go for a holiday,and Jamaica is one of the most popular destinations for all ghosts. Rose Hall is located in Montego Bay. This huge house is inhabited by the ghost of voodoo priestess’s daughter, Annie Palmer, who reportedly causes bloodstains to appear and disappear randomly. She was murdered in her bed after an 11-year reign of death, torture and nymphomania.

According to old stories Annie has murdered three husbands and a succession of slave lovers by poisoning, strangulation and witchcraft, before forcing other slaves to carry bodies through a tunnel to be buried on a beach. Stories say that it is not just Annie who roams the house, but also ghosts of the slave babies she sacrificed in rituals. Reports have it that her male victims have actually been not only heard but also captured on camera. Have a nice vacation in Jamaica!

This is one of the worst hunting ever, the one which led to a living persons death. During the years of 1817 and 1821 a woman entity terrorized the Bell family. She became known as the Bell Witch or ‘Kate’. She had tortured John Bell so much that it led to his death. It is reported that Kate is still around and up for nothing good.

2. Edinburgh Castle

visitors of the castle, in various occasions have reported to be seeing a phantom piper, a headless drummer, the spirits of French prisoners from the Seven Years War, colonial prisoners from the American Revolutionary War – and even the ghost of a dog wandering in the grounds’ dog cemetery. This historical fortress is standing here over 900 years. Lot of history and lot of deaths, lot of spirits must be wondering around.

India sounds nice, but when it comes up to ghosts, if you are willing to meet some here is the right place. First the locals will scare the shit out of you telling you the scariest ghost stories, and as if that is not enough, you will come up on a warning of an Authority not to visit this place after dusk. Birds and wildlife fall silent as the spirit of the sorcerer approaches at night, and nobody has ever tried to spend the night there.

I am willing to take a chance and visit all these places and maybe, if I am not to scared check them out in the night time. Is anyone else up for an adventure like this? I am, not gladly, admitting that I am not up for doing this on my own. It would be nice if some of you readers has guts for something like this, we could make a great journey and maybe some of the legends prove to be false.

He is the strong Duke. He comes as a man with the wings of a Griffon. He drowns people, sinks ships and has the power over the wind and sea, but he will not hurt anyone, unless the one who evoked him gives the order to. He dreams of the return on the Seventh Throne in 1050 years.

42. SANBACK

He is the powerful Marquise. He appears as an armed solider with head of a lion, riding on a white horse. He builds fortress, towns and camps and protects them. He tortures people with wounds.
